Brevinin-1CG2 is an antimicrobial peptide isolated from Amolops chunganensis. It is active against a variety of Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacterial strains. Brevinin-1CG2 has antifungal activity against C.albicans and a slime mold isolate. It also has hemolytic activity against human erythrocytes.
