PTD-DBM is a synthetic peptide that interacts with the mechanism of the hair loss linked endogenous protein CXXC5, which is a negative feedback regulator of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. As a topical scalp treatment, PTD-DBM inhibits the follicle contraction effects caused by human hormones and enzymes, thereby rescuing follicles at the stem cell level. This treatment not only prevents hair loss but also promotes the growth of new hair follicles.
