R9-TAT

R9-Tat is the arginine-substituted analogue for the HIV Tat protein (48-60). Similar to Tat (48-60), R9-Tat is internalized by macrophages and translocated to the nucleus and cytoplasm. Additionally, R9-Tat is highly efficient in intracellular protein transport and acts as a protein carrier for carbonic anhydrase to enter cells.
