It is a fluorescent (TAMRA)-labeled TAT peptide, Abs/Em=541/568 nm. TAT is the most characteristic fragment of HIV trans-activator protein (TAT). The arginine-rich TAT peptide penetrates the plasma membrane directly rather than through endocytosis.
