Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (262-281) is a peptide derived from Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein. In addition to its role in the cytoplasmic cytoskeleton, it also promotes actin polymerization in the nucleus, thereby regulating gene transcription and repair of damaged DNA.
